      Description

In IE9 when a user downloads a document, IE hangs and you see in the process manager that the memory is rising like crazy.

Mostly it doesn't hang fully, so a uses doesn't see it.

      To reproduce:

      • Go to the Document details of a MS Word document
      • Click on Download
      • Click on Open (Save also does the same)
      • Go to the top menu and click on Sites
      • Normally Sites stays open, but it doesn't anymore
      • Now wait and see the memory rise and eventually Internet Explorer will crash or show a JavaScript error
