      Description

After upgrade to Community 201612 GA there are a lot of erros in connection to database

ERROR [hibernate.jdbc.BorrowedConnectionProxy] [defaultAsyncAction7] Unusable connection proxy encountered: org.hibernate.jdbc.BorrowedConnectionProxy@246be667
       2016-12-21 13:57:35,411 ERROR [hibernate.jdbc.BorrowedConnectionProxy] [defaultAsyncAction12]

      (log file attached)

This results in multiple failed transactions.
The error happens in all sorts of transactions, but can be triggered by uploading a new version where it needs to start creating thumbnails.

It also happens after the system has been used for a while (not immediately after a restart), and the number of active sessions is above 10.

It happens both with MariaDB and mySQL, both with mariadb and mysql jdbc driver.

Moving to ACE project for inclusion in 5.2.0. It might just be squeezed into the 201701 Community release but we are not sure.

The db.pool.min is a workaround for cases where corrupted connections are occurring regularly. It is worth trying this as well, Peter Löfgren, as a workaround.
We are, however, investigating and attempting to get a fix done in time.

We have resolved MNT-17113. Thank you for the assistance with this.
We are unable to reproduce this issue and will therefore be closing it. However, if your suspicions are correct, we may well have resolved it, anyway.
We will close this, for now. But feedback when you get the Community 201702 would be great.

Cycling through JIRA workflow to update the resolution type.

It doesn't look like ACE has a resolution type of "Cannot Reproduce"
