      Description

      We try to convert to XML format html and txt files but we get an exception every time (see screenshot attached)
      Is it OK behavior?

          The error message is clear: there's no transformation configured between text and XML. And that seems reasonable to me.

          A transformer between text and XML could be plugged in, but then what would it do?

          I think Alfresco is operating correctly.

          Starting from Alfresco 3.4, which uses Apache Tika, there should be support for transformation to XML for most of the common text-based file formats.
