      Description

Through Webdav users can edit documents directly without the need to save documents locally.
I like Webdav more than sharepoint protocol because I can use it from openoffice.

      Problem
When two people edit the document concurrently one can overwrite the work of the other.

      setup:
user A uses LibreOffice Writer 3.3.2
user B uses OpenOffice Writer 3.2.1

      Scenario S1: lock not recognized

User A: opens document empty D1 (v1.0) using webdav and openoffice
User B: opens document empty D1 (v1.0) using webdav and openoffice
User A: writes "aaa" and save D1 (v1.1)
User B: writes "bbb" and saves D1 (v1.3) (maybe my mistake, in this step I get v1.2 = v1.3)

      D1 now contains "bbb"

      Scenario S2: lock recognized

User B: opens document empty D1 (v1.0) using webdav and openoffice
User A: opens document empty D1 (v1.0) using webdav and openoffice
User B: writes "bbb" and save D1 (v1.1)
User A: writes "aaa" and save D1
System: can't write, file is locked

      D1 now contains "aaa"

      Note:
Libre Office 3.3.2 correclty recognizes locks while OpenOffice 3.2.1 doesn't?
