Regression Since:
Some common methods of zipping files on Windows7 that have accented characters in their filename produce files that are wrongly unzipped when imported into Explorer.
Steps to reproduce:
- On Alfresco 3.4.14 create a folder in Explorer
- Import into that folder one of the attached four zip files
(observe results, delete the files, then re-do for the other files)
Expected Result:
– All four imports should show files with French Accents
Observed Result on 3.4.13:
– For 7zipWin7.zip and nativeWin7.zip the extracted files have question marks instead of accented characters
– For WinZipWin7.zip, the file fails to extract, and the attached error is thrown in the log (stackTrace.txt)
– For linuxNative.zip the files are imported correctly
Observed Result on 4.2.2 (r62625-b188) schema 6,056.:
– For 7zipWin7.zip and nativeWin7.zip the extracted files have question marks instead of accented characters
– For linuxNative.zip and WinZipWin7.zip the files are imported correctly
Regression: On 3.4.2, all four files import and get extracted successfully
The zip files are attached:
- nativeWin7.zip - created from windows7 own compression tool (Send to -> Compressed folder )
- 7zipWin7.zip - created by 7zip 9.2 on windows7
- winZipWin7.zip - created by winZip 18 on windows7
- linuxNative.zip - created by native compression on fedora
The original source files are also attached (Compatibilité.txt and Développement & Décisionnel.txt )
