Update the Application section of Admin Tools (/share/page/console/admin-console/application) as follows:
Change the URL in the existing sentence to point to the 'expected' URL of the repo admin: servername/alfresco/service/enterprise/admin/
- Many of the tools previously found in the Share Administration Console have now been moved to the new [Repository Administration Console].
Add new sentence below that says the following:
- Further information about the Repository Administration Console can be found in the [Alfresco Documentation].
- Link Alfresco Documentation to: at-adminconsole.html (see ACE-4500)
Currently we have two sets of Admin tools on a typical install. The Repo admin tools which are obviously part of every Alfresco Install and the Share admin tools.
Ideally we should provide a means so that admins can access all the admin tools from a single location. I know this has been mentioned before but is there no way for us to import / display the Repo admin tools from within Share?
Frames, whilst ugly might work. Even if it's just a link from within Share it would be useful. If we went the link route perhaps share could show all the repo member servers with a link to each servers Admin Console?
It definitely makes sense to have all the admin tools centrally available from share if we can do it.
