      Description

      Problem Summary

When the URL http://localhost:8080/share/page?pt=login is used to access share instead of http://localhost:8080/share, the login dialog is presented. When wrong credentials are entered, the login dialog remains. But, no error message appears and the the URL is changed to http://localhost:8080/share/page?pt=login?error=true

      Steps to Reproduce

      1) Start up Alfresco and access share with URL http://localhost:8080/share/page?pt=login

      2) Enter wrong credentials in the login dialog.

      Expected Result

      The following error is seen
"Your authentication details have not been recognized or Alfresco may not be available at this time"
      (and)
The URL is changed to http://localhost:8080/share/page?pt=login&error=true

      Actual Result

The login dialog remains. But, no error message appears and the the URL is changed to http://localhost:8080/share/page?pt=login?error=true

      Note

A similar issue was reported in JIRA https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/MNT-12530. However, this addressed the case when a user is redirected to the URL http://localhost:8080/share/page?pt=login when SSO fails. This JIRA deals with the case when user enters the URL http://localhost:8080/share/page?pt=login directly in the browser instead of http://localhost:8080/share.
