      Description

      *Summary of the Enhancement *

      Alfresco 5.2.0 Intallation
      Weblogic 12.2.1.2
      Oracle 12 c database

      Replication steps/Current behaviour
Customer sees that our supported documentation for 5.2 has Oracle JDBC driver 12.1.0.1 as the supported driver. He also noted that we have a JIRA, ACE-3418, that prevents using JDBC driver v12.1.0.2 that comes pre-installed with Weblogic 12.2.1.2.

Customer would like to see if we can test and support JDBC driver 12.2.0.1 or later, or if possible, raise a JIRA with Oracle to have the drivers fixed so future driver releases are able to be used with Alfresco. They are concerned that the future Oracle JDBC drivers will have the same issue that prevents using JDBC driver v12.1.0.2.

      Desired behaviour
Oracle JDBC driver 12.2.0.1 and later drivers are supported by Alfresco and work.

      Business case
The customer's business case is they try to keep their product up to date and while all other applications they use are supporting the latest Oracle JDBC drivers, Alfresco is the only one that requires downgrading the packaged driver that comes with Weblogic to work with the application. Their concern is that future driver releases will also have the same issue.
