AOS: "Edit Online" does not work for RTF files

Summary of the Enhancement 

Alfresco One version 5.1.1.5 (planning to upgrade v5.1.4) and AOS v1.1.6.

Replication steps/Current behaviour

The current behaviour is that the edit online is not available for Rich Text Format (.RTF )files, it only can be edited using edit offline. Attached is 'current_behaviour.jpg' screenshot from live environment.

Desired behaviour

The desired behaviour is that the edit online action is also available for RTF files using AOS in the same way that other documents like Microsoft Word files are. Attached is a 'desired_behaviour.jpg' screenshot from DEV environment where this blog has been implemented:

Business case

Regarding the business justification, RTF is a format very used in the office because it is the export format of a lot of core applications, so many users are currently experiencing this inconvenience introduced when the edit online based on AOS was enabled in the live environment (previously enabled for the edit online based on webdav). The use case is to edit online based on AOS for the new features that it supports and need to be able to edit online the RTF files.
