      Description

      Summary
Currently to disable metadata extraction, you must dig through the configuration and get a list of all extractors running and disable each them on individually. This can be time consuming and can require testing to ensure that you actually disabled all of the available extractors. If there was a single property to globally disable metadata extraction, that would make this much easier.

      Desired behaviour
Disable all metadata extraction via one global property.

      Business case
Customers have expressed confusion over the process, and find it would be a big quality of life improvement to make this easily configurable.
