      Description

      Summary
In Records Manage site, if you make a copy of a file with "copy to" function, classify the original copy and then delete it. When trying to access the copy get an HTPP 404 error is thrown, however, if a new version of the of the deleted document is uploaded, the copy becomes available again.

      Steps to reproduce:
1- In RM site create two folders:

      • category1 > folder1
      • category2 > folder2

2- Upload a PDF type document to one folder: category1\folder1.

3- Select “Copy to…” from actions list of this document and copy it to another folder: category2\folder2

4- Go back to category1 > folder1 and Classify the original PDF file

      5-Delete the classified file

6- Go back to category2 > folder2 and open the copy file

      Observed behaviour:
The file could not open and error HTTP 404 is thrown
      Expected behaviour:

The document should open and previewed

      Further investigation

Uploading a new version of the classified file make the copy being accessible again.

Both records and classified content are treated as sensitive and as such are removed immediately from the content store. When copied the .bin file is not duplicated, thus when the original is classified and deleted, the .bin file is removed beneath the copy. Ordinarily, this would work because the content cleaner would identify that a reference still exists to the .bin file and ignore it, but the immediate destruction by-passes that.
