Share: Uploading a new version of .jpg image does not update height and width metadata.

[ Steps to reproduce ]

1. upload a .jpg file to 'test' site
2. Note down size, height, width meta-data values.
3. On the file click action 'Upload new version'
5. Upload the .jpg with different height, width meta-data values.
6. Check size, height, width meta-data values.

[ Actual Result ]
The update version has the original values

[ Expected Result ]
New values for height, width.

[ Notes ]

Note the size value is correct, only height and width that don't get updated.
