Other flash uploaders like PLUpload (open source) do not have these problems. There the cookies are sent properly. Hopefully one with Actionscript skills can take a look at it and fix the Alfresco flash uploader or simply replace it with PLUpload.

It seems they can't even keep their bugs straight!

See updates to https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/ALF-7204 - HTML5 multi-file uploader dialog has been added to Alfresco 4.1 as the solution going forward to avoid further Flash related issues and bugs.

Does your html5 multi-file uploader work with Internet Explorer (pre version 10)? Does it fall back to the flash uploader?

I'm worried from version 4.1, Alfresco will lose the ability for Internet Explorer users to upload multiple files simultaneously.
