[Bulk Actions] As a Share user (on a SOLR installation) I can perform the same action on multiple selected documents or folders shown in search results

    Details

      Description

As a user of Share on a SOLR based installation I want to have access to perform the actions on an multiple documents or folders that I would find when viewing those documents or folders within the Document Library or Repository pages within Share. The actions that are displayed are those that are configured (by default) in the "share-documentlibrary-config.xml" file in the <multi-select> element.

This user story specifically relates to SOLR rather than Lucene because it this issue is a lower priority than implemented faceted search capabilities. Faceted search is only available on SOLR and there will need to be separate search results pages for SOLR and Lucene based installations. This user story specifically only relates to actions that can be performed on documents and folders (e.g. not sites, people, work flows or anything else).

Note: it is assumed that Lucene will deprecated in the next release so an issue for adding search results on Lucene based installations has (at the time of writing) not been created.
Avoids jumping and forth from search results to other pages. Also known as 'pogosticking', see http://www.flickr.com/photos/morville/sets/72157623210215656/
