      Description

      Alfresco should offer dedicated support for web shortcut file formats i.e. .webloc (Mac OSX) and .url (Windows). "Dedicated support" in this context means:
      1. the MIME types for each file is known to Alfresco (though see below)
      2. the Share previewer displays a rendition of the page at the given URL (perhaps as an iframe?)
      3. there is a transformer that seamlessly converts between the two MIME types in both directions
      4. (nice to have) on-the-fly conversion between these two file types, based on the client OS (i.e. a .webloc file would be converted on-the-fly to a .url file if the client OS is Windows, and vice versa)

      Example content from a Mac .webloc file:

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
      <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
      <plist version="1.0">
      <dict>
      <key>URL</key>
      <string>http://www.alfresco.com/</string>
      </dict>
      </plist>

      Example content from a Windows .url file:

      [InternetShortcut]
      URL=http://www.alfresco.com/
