Currently when users upload a new version of a document in share after a document is chosen to be uploaded it is not possible to know what document was selected, it would be helpful if the upload new version screen showed the name and path of the local file that was selected. The only indication the user has is that they selected some file since the upload button becomes available after selection, however, it a user walks away before clicking upload and then comes back to their desk they won't remember what file they selected.

With regards to the initial request browsers will not display the local file path for security reasons.

MNT-14924 addresses the additional comment above.

John Knowles,

Can we at least have the same behaviour as the alfresco cloud? In there you can see the filename of the file selected, this will help out users a lot.

Asking to re-open to have the same behaviour as the alfresco cloud, the filename of the file being uploaded shows up, it doesn't have the path but at least having the filename will help.
