 Description   

[Pre-condition]:
1. User is logged in as Site Manager, Collaborator or Contributor for the Site;
2. "Links" page withat least one link added is opened for the Site

[Steps]:
1. Notice the way link's info is shown
2. Put the pointer on the link
3. Hit 'Simple View' button
4. Reload the page

[Result]:
Links info is shown in 'Detailed View'
[Expected Result]:
Links info is shown in 'Simple View'

No other components other than the Document Library currently store the view mode in the user's preferences.

Therefore, the same will be true of Blogs, Wiki and Discussions as well as Links.

The issue is not reproduced on Alfresco Enterprise v4.0.0a build 487 (r30656), RHEL 5.5 x64bit, Tomcat 6.0.29, MySQL 5.5, JDK 6 u22 x64, Alfresco+ OpenLDAP, Windows Vista, IE 9.0.
