[Description]:
Using the Basic Search it is possible to filter/restrict the scope of the search to the current site, all sites or the whole Alfresco repository. However, when using the Alfresco Advanced Search, there is no such facility to filter/restrict the scope (the Advanced Search only searches the entire repository by filtering content based on field, mimetype, modifier, or modification date span.

The different filtering approaches between the Basic Search and the Advanced Search are confusing to users as the numbers of search results found vary according to whether you use the Advanced Search or the Basic (due to the restricted scope of the Basic Search).

No steps to reproduce due to request for implementation of this feature.

[Expected Behaviour]:
Filters "<Current Site> | All Sites | Repository" should be available in Advanced Search
OOTB as in Basic Search.

[Observed Behaviour]:
Just available in Basic Search

[Analysis to date]:
1.) Test on latest release confirmed the different filters available in Basic & Advanced Search
2.) Explained to the customer the different aims between Basic and Advanced Search
3.) There is no need for immediate implementation of such a functionality in terms of customisation from their point of view,
but they want to see that assessed by Product Management as a feature for a later release.
