Steps to reproduce
1. Using the NodeService api create a node with a mandatory property set to null.
2. Call the integrity checker expecting a failure

Expected Behaviour
The integrity check should fail

Observed Behavior
The integrity check passes without failures

The integrity checking is going to take the application's view of things: a null value is the same as it not being there at all.
